White Chili

Olivia

1 large white onion
1 T. cooking oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cans green Chile's
2 t. Cumin
1 t. Oregano
1/4 t. Cayenne pepper
1/4 t. Ground Cloves
2 cans chicken broth
4 c. cooked, cubed chicken
3 cans great northern beans
2 c. shredded Monterrey Jack



Saute onion in oil till tender; stir in spices. Add broth, chicken and beans. Simmer, uncovered, for 15 to 20 minutes. Take off heat and add cheese.
